This restaurant is literally a hop-skip and jump from here. Although small (4 tables on the patio, 6 or 8 inside) and off the beaten path, it has a VERY good reputation, and is one of my favorite restaurants in San Miguel. A charming place with a friendly and welcoming staff. Their fajita tacos are about the best I’ve ever had. To get here, turn right out the gate, and then take the very next street on the left (Calle Clavel - it looks almost like an ally), then go right on Refugio, which is the next street up.

It is located on the south side of Sterling Dickinson in Plaza Pueblito. On the north side of Stirling Dickinson between 20 de Enero and Pipila, this little bakery is outstanding. I don’t think I’ve ever had a better chocolate croissant (including those from Paris!).

A bit more upscale, they have a large menu and generally good food at reasonable prices. Their covered patio dining is quite nice, and usually there is someone playing gentle guitar music on stage.

This is adjacent to the space where the Saturday Organic market is held, and is dedicated to organic foods with a variety of food sellers on the first floor (bakery, coffee, deli, cheese, meat, produce, gluten-free, etc) and small restaurant stalls on the second floor. This is also next door to where the Saturday Organic market is held, where you can find all kinds of produce, baked goods, fish, personal hygiene, artisanal and other items. There are food and coffee vendors there, and the food is quite good.
