The meatpacking district is worth a visit. There are multiple good restaurants and nightclubs here. Check out Mother for a good pizza, Gorilla for a reasonable priced full course dinner, Fiskebaren for a delicious seafood experience.

Activities
Copenhagen Zoo is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. We visit the park at least a couple of times a month together with our son. The Zoo facilities are great and you can get a great view and learn a lot about many exotic animals. We recommend visit it when it opens, as the animals activity level are higher and there are less people in the park. Btw. yhey have a fantastic playground for kids up to 7-8 years old

Copenhagens Tivoli is one of the worlds oldest amusments park that are still operating. Such a great escape from the city. Lovely decoration for all the seasons. Highly recommend a visit if you haven't been there before.

In an old church on Søndre Boulvard is a unique community center. It serves as a cafe and activity center during the day and turns into a nightclub in the weekends.
At 18:00 / 6pm they serve dinner for 50 DKK. You normally have to meet up an hour or so before. Dinner is served family style on each table, and you have to help out serving and cleaning up the tables. Really nice food and very cozy to share a table with other folks in the neighbourhood.
