A true favorite, for some of the best elevated Mexican food in the Midwest. Also walking distance from our place in the heart of Westport Crossing. You have not lived until you've tried their Chimichanga! And they have a weekend brunch that rocks!

Best BBQ in Kansas City which is known for its amazing BBQ. A quick drive from the apartment and almost always busy but you can call for a reservation and its totally worth it! Everything here rocks!

The most romantic and delicious place in KC! Farm to table intimate dining experience that will really impress you with the Kansas City food scene. We love everything on this menu and go here way too often. You will probably need to make reservation but its definitely worth it.

This is a bit of a drive but definitely the best kept secret for burgers in KC. Delicious and cheap have never met in a more perfect experience than at this local butcher turned food truck!

We have some really wonderful jazz clubs in KC but this one is our favorite. Perfect for a romantic night . Its down in a basement area of a restaurant which lends itself to a cool prohibition speakeasy vibe but with casual vibes as well. No cover charge on most nights which is rare for most of the hip jazz clubs in town.
