Bunkhouse (and Barn) on the Brazos

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway in the heart of Houston's polo country on 27 acres along the Brazos River. This cottage was the former bunkhouse for an equestrian training property. It was remodeled in 2023, but some of its original character remains. It is located at the end of a quiet country road but is only 35 miles from the Houston Galleria area. Holland House, a building filled with character and charm built in 1877; one of only a few that survived the hurricane of the 1900's. The unique twist of the building is what we fondly refer to as "character". Located on the square, a private brick paved courtyard has large oak trees to unwind or simply enjoy the quiet that our small town has to offer. Shops and dining are within walking distance.
