After just minutes on the free ferry from Central Station, you’ll find Amsterdam’s true north. This up-and-coming neighbourhood is alive and kicking, bursting with cultural hotspots. There is great history behind the hotel. The Vergulden Eenhoorn was established in 1702 as a city farm and used to be one of very few farmhouses the city of Amsterdam has. Together with the city of Amsterdam the farmhouse was fully renovated to modern standards, while maintaining the historic value and its features.
