The Little Blue House - Golden Circle

You truly are in the middle of the countryside here. Surrounded by mountains, hot springs and wild horses, yet only a five minute drive from the nearest shop, gas station and restaurant. The house is located in the heart of the golden circle and is the perfect base from which to explore the surrounding nature. Geysir, Gulfoss and Thingvellir national park are very close. If you have a suitable vehicle I would strongly recommend driving the road around the lake at Thingvellir - it’s amazing.

Perfect stay for exploring south Iceland and enjoy nature and the northern lights in winter. Beautiful cabin by the river Hvítá in a prime location in the Golden Circle. Near Gullfoss and Geysir and only 100 km to the capital city Reykjavík. The cabin can accommodate 2-4 persons. One bedroom with beds for two people. Featuring a terrace with mountain views and a hot tub. In the house is a smart TV. The unit has a bed that can both be double and twin, double is default but make twin for a request.

All the main attractions such as Geysir (less than 10 mins drive), Gullfoss (under 20 min) and Thingvellir (about 40 min) are easy to get to from the cottage.
