Gnar-Lee River Retreat, named for our puppies, offers a place to get away and enjoy the outdoors. Reconnect with friends and family all while staying connected with FiberOptic internet. We are thirty minutes away from world class skiing (Sugarloaf and Saddleback) and countless lakes and streams for kayaking and fly fishing in the warm months. Our family came here on vacation and knew we needed to stay closer so while we are working we hope you will come play and enjoy all Maine has to offer.

Enjoy a peaceful mountain getaway in our newly renovated basement apartment located in the foothills of Western Maine. Our Garden Retreat is the perfect place to relax after a long day of fun! Start your day with the sunrise over beautiful views of distant hills. After enjoying any of the nearby outdoor attractions Western Maine has to offer, curl up on the couch with a book or your favorite TV show, or relax in the hot tub. Retire for the night in one of the Retreat’s comfy beds, and repeat!

A short path takes you down to the lake and a pebble stone beach to swim, use our 4 kayaks, soak in our 4 season outdoor hot tub, or just relax with a good book. New heat pumps to customize heating and cooling on both floors! Access both the snowmobile and ATV trails from the driveway! Plenty of parking for trailers for all of your powersport toys. The Beaver Cove Marina provides convenient access to launch your boat.

With epic hiking, waterfall swims, disc golf, zip lining and mountain biking right out the back door we've got your vacation covered. Plenty of room to spread out in the condo with a game room downstairs and a hot tub to soothe your tired muscles after a day of play. Sugarloaf in the summer is magical.
