Set on a lake in beautiful Somerset surrounded by rolling countryside, it is situated halfway between the popular artisan market-towns of Frome and Bruton and a short drive from Longleat. Four solar panels power your stay, providing you with a wonderful slice of peaceful tranquility.

Laurie (horse lorry re-invented)

Laurie was in active service until September '22. Now retired from horse movement and fitted to sleep four (see photos). Wrap around deck with steps to the side living door seating area to the rear with lovely views over open countryside. Living area with mini kitchen, hot and cold water, microwave combi, two hobs, fridge & freezer compartment, table & seating for four. Log burner in living area. Fishing on farm. Indoor exercise pool payable locally. (Subject to availability) Toilet 10 meters.

Price is per night per person - extra guests incur extra charge. Stay in an eco-project field, use as a base for exploring or simply stay where you are, enjoying the peace and quiet. Please be aware that low cost comes with a need for you to be environmentally sensitive to your water use and waste disposal. You can bring dogs (sheep in next field) and you can light a fire in the firepit. the caravan is in its own secluded spot a way from the hard standing, in wet weather wellies advised.

Somerset Cider Safari Tent

For the ultimate family Somerset experience come and stay in our award winning Somerset safari, nestled within the trees of our secluded 6 ½ acre orchard, on the edge of the beautiful Exmoor National Park. All interiors are hand crafted, with the main tent having a kitchenette, an elevated double bed, bathroom with shower, mains electric with heat by way of a lovely wood burner. Outside there is a covered patio area, BBQ and fire pit area, making it the perfect get away, whatever the weather!

‘Bertha’ is a 1947 restored Showman’s Wagon. Set in its own private garden, surrounded by secluded, beautiful, AONB countryside, situated between the villages of Cheddar and Draycott. The site is an ideal retreat for nature lovers, walkers, or those who wish to enjoy and explore the Mendips, the Somerset Levels, Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole and more. Ample parking, double bed, full kitchen, bathroom, c/heating, log burner, gas BBQ, fire pit, 2 x Bicycles. All in a unique private setting.

Nigel and Maria's vintage Showman's Caravan

Come and stay on the farm in our unique Showman's living van, situated in the heart of Mid Devon, surrounded by wildflower meadows and stunning views across the Devon countryside. The caravan has been renovated with a 1970s charming vintage interior and can comfortably sleep a family of four, with one large double bedroom and two single bedrooms. There is a large lounge with comfy seating and a breakfast bar to sit and enjoy the stunning views and a fully functioning 70s inspired kitchen.

“Rex the Bus” Quirky and fun bus conversion.

"Rex the Bus" is unique, fun and just a little bit quirky. This double decker bus has been converted to the highest standard and connected to mains electricity, water and drainage. Enjoy panoramic views of the countryside from the windows, watch the sunrise from your double bed or cabin bunk bed. Heating and a wood-burner will keep you warm and snug, whilst the kitchen area provides plenty of space to cook up a delicious meal. There is a shower downstairs and a loo and basin upstairs.

“Pippins” A cosy fully self-contained luxury cabin

Luxury shepherds hut, en-suite shower room & wood burner, set in an orchard. We run a licensed riding school, Red Park Equestrian Centre, & have many friendly horses & ponies. A fully self contained unit, well equipped - full size fridge, icebox, two ring hob, smart tv, wifi & a cosy bed. There is outdoor space with picnic bench & a wood fired pizza oven. Be aware there can be noise from a playground. You are within walking distance of the village with wonderful pubs, eateries & takeaways.

Foxglove Safari Tent

sleeping up to 6: A double plus 2 sets of bunk beds.Shower room with shower, hand basin and flush toilet. Kitchen area has a sink with gas hob, cutlery, utensils and crockery provided. Mains hot and cold water, and electricity. Wood fired log burner, with a child safety cage. The tent is furnished with home comforts including rocking chair and hammock, a small music system, books and games to keep you occupied. Outside : fire pit with seating, water tap, badminton net and a tyre swing.

Welcome to our quirky little space in the Quantocks. A renovated wooden horsebox set in its own private ancient woodland, far from the madding crowd. Complete privacy with wood fired hot tub and outdoor shower. Full plumbed bathroom by July 2025. A huge deck and swing from which to watch the wildlife and the sunset. Waking distance to dog friendly award winning gastro- pub and direct access onto the hills - ideal for walkers, cyclists and dog owners. Quirky, rustic, peaceful and beautiful.

Walnut Yurt at The Apothecary Garden

Welcome to Walnut Yurt. A spacious glamping retreat nestled within our thriving Apothecary Garden, overlooking our ancient stone circle and walnut tree. Inside, you’ll find a double bed, double sofa bed (additional £25 charge), log burner, desk, fully equipped kitchen, and cosy living space. Step onto your private deck for sunrise views. Toilets are a short walk away. With a skylight above, we recommend an eye mask for early risers.

Pippin Lodge

Each of our 4 lodges sleep 6 people and up to 2 dogs, in a King Bedroom, a Twin Bedroom and Double Cabin Bed. All the beds are made up with Egyptian cotton bed linen and cosy duvets. Each lodge has its own bathroom, complete with shower, flushing toilet, basin and heated towel rail so you don’t need to sacrifice on your creature comforts. Hot water is provided on tap, as well as your very own log burner to keep you toasty!
