Barnacle Tree is a self catering cottage on a private residential property in Somerset West, 50km's from Cape Town. We are surrounded by the Helderberg Mountains, with good access to local beaches, parks, wine farms, restaurants and scenic routes. The cottage consists of a lounge, kitchen, bedroom (Queen bed) and en suite bathroom with shower. It's perfect for one to two people and also for short term students and business guests wanting longer stays as it is fully equipped, secure and enclosed.

You are in a quiet, private treed haven close to restaurants, nature parks, wine estates, golf course, Strand beach and hiking trails amongst many other amenities that Somerset West and its surrounds has to offer.

Under milkwoods

This house is built directly above a secluded beach in Gordon's Bay. It has five majestic milkwood trees and an indigenous garden. The sea is often calm and the sandy beach is suitable for children. There are rock pools and cormorants and seals in the bay. The harbour and the village are within walking distance. The house sleeps four people, but only one bedroom is fully enclosed; the rest of the house is open plan. Sam lives upstairs and will be there to welcome you on your arrival.
