It's only a short walk to up-scale restaurants, bars, and music venues. There's also the historic waterfront, a shopping district, Dalhousie University, Citadel Hill, and Halifax Commons. Walking is ideal. One parking space is provided on site (just in front of unit -furthest one left facing Maynard Place) and a public transit stop is down the street. Two private entrances - one of ground level and one on deck level.

CENTRAL ground floor suite in our home, with private entry. Located on a treelined residential street, within a 30 minute walk/10 minute drive to most major destinations on the Halifax Peninsula, including universities, hospitals, commons, and downtown core. Bus routes only steps away. Laundromat, grocery store, and shopping mall are also within walking distance. Perfect setup for two, can stretch up to four with the sofa bed in the main living space. There is ample, free parking on our street.

Live Like Home In Halifax

You will enter from the front door, private entrance and Airbnb is on second floor in my private home, close to downtown Halifax. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 sitting room and 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower. The sitting-room has table and chairs, microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, coffee, tea, BUT, "no kitchen". TV with cable and has WiFi - wireless. There is a heatpump in the sitting room that provides heat as air conditioning in that room. No parties allowed in the suite.

This summer home is located at the head of Herring Cove; there is 48m of waterfront. Have fun exploring, roaming the rocks or kayaking the Cove of this private shore. We have a kayak for your pleasure. Enjoy the spectacular view from the hot tub or the spacious deck. Herring Cove has much to offer with its hiking, sight seeing, simply sitting at the dock, or visiting our popular Pavia Cafe. It is a 15 minute drive to Downtown. This is a great spot for cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts.
