The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is privately positioned alongside a Security Estate, offering low key, rustic accomodation that quietly reconnects you to nature. Restore one's capacity to appreciate the simple things in life, such as the sound of rain on a rustic exposed tin roof and singing birds. If the wind blows in a certain direction, you may hear distant traffic. Expect to encounter duiker, rabbits, possibly bats. Guests love the peaceful mood under the canopy of trees, the big fireplace and the comfy beds.

Santai Suites on McGregor Farm

Each Suite welcomes you to a luxurious and large bedroom with king-size bed, with french doors opening out on your a private patio overlooking the gardens. An en-suite beautiful serene bathroom with shower and massive bathtub. A kitchenette and living room with all the basic supplies for a weekend away. The suites have cotton bed linen, and towels, electric blankets, underfloor heating in bathroom, TV, Wi-Fi, kitchenette, cutlery and crockery, patio with seating and of course, a Weber braai.

The Art Barn

Reconnect with nature in the forest oasis and former art studio of South African artist and fashion designer, Harvey Rothchild. Situated on the Garden Route amid rolling farmlands and natural forest, the Art Barn is located a mere 15 minute drive from Knysna and 20 minutes from Buffels Bay. A barn with great views of the valley into KZN

A hop, skip and a jump off the N3, situated in in the Van Reenen Eco Village Precinct. Down the road from the little church tea garden. A great one night stop off.
