Water Forest Retreat -Octagon

Water Forest retreat is a very private 122ft.² electrified and heated cedar octagon next to a brook on 56 acres of forest with a pond, waterfall, marsh and hiking trails. Cozy up in this quiet comfortable space while listening to Goldmine brook while you sleep. Fire pit, heated outhouse with composting toilet, outdoor dining area, brook, pond and trail head are just steps away. We also have a TREE HOUSE and HIKER’S HAVEN house by the brook. Beautiful private camper with outdoor deck on the water. All the creature comforts but half the price. Very private yet 15 minutes to Northampton or Easthampton. Kitchen sink, 2 burner stove, refrigerator, toilet and shower, one queen bed and twin bunk beds, dinette can also turn into a bed. Pots and pans, silverware and cooking utensils are provided. Camper has power and water as well as heat and air conditioning. There is a Blackstone griddle for outdoor cooking.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. The unit is part of a two family duplex house. You and your family will have the entire unit to yourselves. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds, a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room. The living room has a TV, fireplace, and Netflix. There is also a fenced in back yard with a patio and outdoor dining area as well as a firepit. The house is also pet-friendly.

The Windy Top Cottage is an old stone building constructed in 1932 by H. L. Bitter, a wealthy Hartford businessman. This area of Granby was a favorite of the Hartford elite for a place to 'summer' in the early part of the 20th Century. The cottage was the quarters for the domestic staff while the family was in North Granby. With an elevation of 970, we offer clean, fresh country air!
