Postal Lodge - our one-off wooden shack…

This is our wooden shack, hidden away in our little corner of Norfolk. Stay here and share some of the country idyll that we love. This is a peaceful, remote position, and we treasure the space, nature and peace we’re surrounded by - and hope you will too. The Shack has been built, fitted and furnished using up-cycled, re-cycled, reclaimed, new, old, vintage, shabby, retro, re-purposed or anything different or quirky. We’re constantly adding to it. No telly. Limited WiFi. Time out, guaranteed.

Cottage on a private island

Cozy cabin on a private island by a sea bay. Enjoy stunning views from the deck and peaceful surroundings. Guests have access to a rowing boat, canoe, SUP-board, grill, and sauna. The cabin has a small kitchen, electricity, and an outdoor toilet. Sleeps max. 4 adults and 2 kids. No running water, but it can be carried from the mainland, and hosts bring the first batch for drinking and washing. The sauna has a rechargeable showerhead for rinses. A perfect spot for a simple, relaxing getaway.

Wildlife Oasis Cabin

Almost Home Wildlife Oasis es un ranchito cerca del arroyo San Felipe, a 5 minutos del centro de Del Rio. Esta cabaña tiene un ambiente de spa ideal para una escapada relajante. El exterior incluye una fogata, parrilla y piscina estilo vaquero. Con senderos donde podrá ver ciervos, conejos, correcaminos y maravillosos animales de granja justo afuera de la cabaña, ¡se enamorará de esta experiencia única en Del Río! (No se permiten animales externos debido a la vida silvestre y de rancho).

Heidi's Barn, Franschhoek

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.

Easy access to hwy 1 and 20 minutes to Golden, 45 minutes from the Rogers Pass and 30 minutes from Kicking Horse Resort. Walk, snowshoe or xc ski right from the door and explore the trails and the Blaeberry River. Warm up beside the wood stove and enjoy the ambiance of the timber framed cabin. Located on a dead end road , you will enjoy the peaceful and quiet location.

Secluded forester’s cottage with modern comforts

Hollybush Cottage is full of character with a garden and stream. It is surrounded by woodland and is 100m from Offa’s Dyke path with access to miles of beautiful walks, ideal for anyone wanting to explore Shropshire and mid Wales. It Sleeps 4, there is a kingsize bed and two singles in the second bedroom. Recently refurbished throughout with a new fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The sitting room has a log burner and QLED TV. Super fast fibre broadband throughout.

Sea view is nestled on the iconic 83 mile Snowdonia slate trail 400 metres above sea level . The Medieval town of Caernarfon with its majestic castles are within a 10 mile reach, with the lakeside resort of llanbaris also being within a short drive providing you direct access to the largest mountain in Wales which is Snowdonia .

The Nook Cottage In The Heart Of Northumberland

Come away to nature, peace, and tranquillity at an idyllic, self-contained stone cottage nestled in the heart of Northumberland, within a short walk to the North Tyne River, two village pubs, post office, convenience mart and church. Charm can be found in the original stone walls, oak beams, woodburning stove, cosy furniture, and a king-size bed. An excellent touring base, located near Hadrian’s Wall, Roman forts, Hexham Abbey, and Kielder Water and Forest Park.

Gordon's View Shepherd's Hut

Nestled in the High Weald AONB, between the two historic towns of Tenterden and Rye is our shepherd's hut "Gordon's View". Located on a quiet working farm our hut has beautiful uninterrupted countryside views and is situated in it's own field with peaceful surroundings that make it feel very private. The large patio doors opening onto the outside seating area, the wood burner and the underfloor heating all make for a comfortable stay at any time of the year!
