Very well equipped & an ideal base for rest & activities. Just a few mins walk to Castle Menzies, the Ailean Chraggan bar restaurant, fantastic walks, River Tay, forest tracks etc. 2 min drive/easy 20 min walk to Aberfeldy for shops, fuel, cafes, food. 5-star, helpful (but v unobtrusive) host!

Wee Blue Dream is a simple, comfortable small cabin with amazing views of the Black Castle and Ben Vrackie, Pitlochry, Scotland. A great escape for 1-3 people, especially for outdoor activities or simply relaxing at the fire pit with a glass of red wine. Lucy, our akita collie cross, welcomes all friendly dogs FOC. There is a wood-burning stove, double futon sofa/bed and day bed - all bedding provided, and a small kitchen area. There is a private shower room 10 metres away, with dishwasher.

Wee Glengarry is a lovely, stylish space for you to relax and enjoy. Our studio is fully self-contained, with direct access from a private, decked garden area, solely for guests use. It is a quiet retreat for couples and solo travellers to enjoy in close proximity to the local Victorian town of Pitlochry. Situated in a small woodland copse, next to Loch Faskally, excellent for wild swimming - we are close to the railway station and a five minute walk to all the local restaurant's and pubs.

Writer's Retreat in the heart of Perthshire

'The Howff' is a refurbished farm worker's bothy in a rural location with lots of walks and access to beautiful parts of Perthshire. One hour's drive from Edinburgh, 20 mins Dundee or Perth. This authentic bothy contains one room with single bed, wood burning stove, mini kitchen unit with fridge, oven, portable hob and kettle, separate shower room, wc, basin. Linen and towels included. Although small, The Howff is warm and cosy and makes a perfect retreat. Please note for ONE only.

The Owl House at Gardeners Cottage (dog friendly)

The Owl House is a cosy retreat, five minutes from historic Fortingall. This former outbuilding has been lovingly renovated and commands beautiful views over the glen. At night, add some logs to the wood-burning stove, sit back, and enjoy listening to the owls hooting. Glen Lyon, Ben Lawers, Schiehallion, Aberfeldy, Drummond Hill and Loch Tay are just a stones throw away. Well-behaved dogs welcome (please note that we do not allow cats). There is a spacious super kingsize (or twin) bedroom, spectacular living space, modern kitchen & shower room, private entrance, parking & outside seating area.
