Designed as a nod to my heritage, Skoghus ('forest house' in Norwegian) was crafted for relaxation, and reconnecting with nature. The treehouse sits in the centre of a Scottish Highland cattle farm, with pasture and forest in all directions. From the yard, you'll be able to observe and engage with the farm's cattle when they come by. Inside, you can disconnect and unwind, with luxury amenities. The dwelling is completely unique and provides a very special feeling while living in the trees.

Drive around the back where parking is provided next to stair entrance. Full kitchen and bathroom, one queen bed, one fold out Futon couch, gas heat stand alone fireplace. Very private. We built this tiny house after a trip to Japan where we fell in love with the concept of “shinrin-yoku” (forest bathing or taking in the forest atmosphere). Even though this property is located within a small, private neighborhood, the forest and a rushing creek can be enjoyed from every area. Try your hand at tiny home living in the 196 square foot space. Or cheat a little and sit outside on the cute little porch or creekside deck.
