Welcome to my new spacious ground floor apartment in Laugardalur, a quiet suburb in the heart of Reykjavík with only a 10min bus ride to the city center. *Brand new patio with hot tub built summer of 2023. Living room photos are not accurate due to new door out to the patio. Located in walking distance of a bus terminal, taking you to and from the airport and to various sightseeing tours of your choice. Also in walking distance: A large grocery store, a cozy café, Laugardalslaug public pool.

The location is exceptional, located hillside in a beautiful nature reserve, still very close to the downtown Reykjavik, 20 min drive. In winter Dec-March 4x4 car is essential in Iceland. No public transport. Enjoy the hot tube in the evening and watch for the Northern Lights, then rest inside and amid wood paneling that extends to the vaulted ceilings, and look out forest-wards from the deck. The International airport is 40-50 minutes drive. Ideal located for exploring the South West.

The Cozy cabin is located in a small village called Hveragerdi in the south-west of Iceland, a 30 minute drive from the capital, which will allow you to easily visit the attractions at the Golden Circle route. This village is popular for its phenomenal hiking trails, one of them is Reykjadalur Hot Springs. The cabin is in a secluded location in a mountainous area which allows you to see fantastic views of the Northern Lights, decorated cozy with everything you need during your stay.

The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom with rain shower, bedroom 1 with large double bed and bedroom 2 with two single beds. In the living area is a dining area for 6 and two sofas, which are easily changed to a double beds. Just steps from the sea and the seaside path running the length of the old fishing village of Eyrarbakki.
