Empire Sleeping Cabin in Grand Marais, MI provides a cozy, restful & rustic experience for the glamper that enjoys a dry, warm and comfortable experience while surrounded by nature. Cabin has wall heater & a king size pillow top bed. "THE HEATED FULL BATHROOM & HALF BATH IS NOT IN THE CABIN" but is located just steps away from the cabin in the large pole barn, and is stocked with hand towels and toiletries to make your "GLAMPING" experience one to remember. Surrounded by Hiawatha State Forest, it offers instant access to ORV trails, 100s of miles of trout streams, and world-class fishing for brook trout, salmon, and steelhead. Just minutes from Cut River Bridge and Garlyn Zoo, this true “Up North” retreat is perfect for outdoor adventure or a peaceful getaway.

The Cabin

Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.

Paradise Lake Cabin

New construction 1 bed , 1 bath cabin located 7 minutes from Mackinaw City. The cabin has a shared lake access to Paradise Lake. Fenced hot tub area with stone pavers located off the side of the cabin. Sleeps 4 with two queen beds, washer dryer , shower and full kitchen.
