It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Croft cottage, 334 Kinnauld, refurbished in 2021 is situated in the heart of the Highlands, a 5 minute drive from A9 and North Coast 500 route. 50 miles north of the Highland capital Inverness and a 15-minute drive to Dornoch. The perfect stop for those interested in walking, cycling or wildlife. This quiet and tranquil cottage is surrounded by magnificent scenery and wide-open spaces. In Sutherland you can enjoy fantastic beaches, distilleries, castles, golf courses, and much more.

The Weavers Cottage, Dalmore, Rogart HI-00162-F

The Weavers is a traditional Croft cottage renovated in 2023 to an exceptional standard whilst retaining its original charm and character. Situated at the base of Dalmore Rock, it was built in the mid 1800’s from Dalmore granite. This cosy cottage is perfectly placed to explore the area, being only 15 minutes from the NC500 route and the Sound of Fleet nature reserve, and 20 minutes to Dornoch in the east. 15 minutes west takes you to Lairg the gateway to the west and north Highlands.

Kylesku Kabin has been fully renovated by acclaimed architect Helen Lucas and is owned by the previous owners of the nationally recognised multi-award winning Kylesku Hotel, which is within walking distance. The property features a luxurious spa bathroom, including steam room and inspirational open plan living space, designer kitchen and garden.

One bedroom apartment in Dornoch, Scotland

With views to the Dornoch Firth this light and airy, self-contained, one bed apartment is situated in a quiet and leafy no-through road serving a small number of residential properties. The centre of Dornoch and the Royal Dornoch Golf Club is a ten minute walk. The expanse of sandy beach and dunes is approximately, a fifteen minute walk. It is perfectly situated as a pit-stop for the NC500 or as a base to enjoy the hills, glens and coastline.

We are a working Croft in the heart of the highlands overlooking Loch Shin, with views of Ben More Assynt. Where a warm welcome awaits you. Come and explore what Sutherland has to offer from walking, canoeing and cycling to fishing and a good game of golf all within easy drive. Spend the night in either Whisky or Skipper. One of our pods named after our dogs. Take a seat on the deck with a cuppa or a glass and watch the world go by.

"The Old Byre"...perfect place to relax and unwind

Our lovely cosy cottage, "the old byre", is situated in the heart of the Highlands, just a 15 minute drive from the main A9 and 54 miles north of Inverness city centre. With the surrounding magnificent scenery, wide open spaces and beautiful walks from the door, you may not want to get back in your car! But, if you do, there is much to explore locally, with fantastic beaches, distilleries, castles, golf courses, and much more.

The Pavilion, Foulis Castle, Highland Scotland

The Pavilion is a Luxurious Self Catered Wing of Foulis Castle just out of Evanton near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. The Pavilion is positioned within beautiful landscaped gardens overlooking the Cromarty Firth. Foulis Castle is a 15-20 min walk away from the Storehouse of Foulis Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm).
