The Pod on the Hill

Situated approx.2.5 miles outside the village of Port Ellen, the POD offers peace, quiet and relaxation after exploring the distilleries and the joys of the Island. Port Ellen and Laphroaig can be seen from the POD which overlooks Kilnaughton Bay. The path to the three distilleries on this side of the Island starts in the village, taking you first to Laphroaig then Lagavulin , finishing at Ardbeg where delicious food is available. The cottage is over 200 years old and has been converted from an original stable used by the horses working on the Crinan Canal. The Wee House

The Wee House is a one bedroom seafront cottage looking onto Port Ellen. Sleeping up to 4 guests with a sofa bed (full size double) in the living room. Listing price is for 2 guests sharing the bedroom. If the sofa bed is required for bookings of 2 guests please let us know as there is an extra charge (£10 per night). The cottage is within walking distance of local shops, pubs and restaurants and near to the distillery path taking you to Laphroaig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg.

Ploughmans Cottage is located in the Village of Furnace, 7 miles from Inveraray, in Argyll. The cottage was built around 1890 to house the Ploughman for Goatfield Farm, and has been extensively remodelled to create a unique getaway. A beautiful, recently refurbished one-bedroom private stone cottage, The Steading is a self-contained cottage just across the courtyard from our main house. It benefits from a lovely setting amongst the Scottish countryside with glorious views across Loch Fyne, and has many unique features. There is ample private parking directly outside the cottage (spaces for two cars with extra parking if required) and you are free to enjoy the fields and open spaces around you.

The Bothan

Relax in this calm, stylish space on the Isle of Kerrera and explore the beautiful and wild landscape. The ideal island getaway for couples or lone adventurers. Abundant wildlife such as otters, sea eagles and beautiful wild flora can be discovered as well as historic sites such as Gylen castle, all the while surrounded by breathtaking views. The island is easily accessible by the nearby Calmac passenger ferry from Gallanach, near the mainland town of Oban.
