This is a wonderful local park that has something to do for the whole family. New disc golf course, kids playground, tennis courts, Lake Baron is great for fishing, hiking/mountain biking trails or swim in the Truckee River. Dogs allowed on leash

Park for kids and grassy area. The Upper Truckee River runs through this area as well as Lake Baron for kayaking or paddleboarding. Cool local's park.

Great for picnics, hiking & mountain biking. Playground, ball field & basketball court in the lower section of park; tennis courts & Lake Baron in the upper area

We love this local park to avoid the crowds. Playground for the kids and BBQ pits. Lake Barron has a small beach and you can paddleboard on the lake. Kids love to look for frogs and crawfish and locals often fish the lake in the morning/evenings. The park also has access to the Truckee River and there are lots of little beaches and places to play along the river. You can hike along the lake or the river, as well. Just don't tell too many people about this spot!
