It is so fun to go there on Sunday nights. You have to order a table and be there before 19:00. They have bingo like you never have seen before ;-)

If you want to have a night out during the week (not the weekend); Sæta Svínið is your best bet. They have party-karaoke on Wednesdays and fun bingo nights on Sundays. But Icelanders mainly party during the weekends, during which you'll find plenty of active nightlife venues (beware that Icelanders typically pregame at home and don't show up down town until around 12am).
