I highly recommand a guided tour of this ancient prison at the heart of Paris. Especially if you're interested in la Révolution française. You can pay a visit tout la Sainte-Chapelle just nearby. Stunning stained-glass windows.

Palais De Justice contains the ancient structure of the Conciergerie, a former prison, now a museum, where Marie Antoinette was imprisoned before being executed on the guillotine.
