The views from Sulphur Mountain are a must see during your trip to the Rocky Mountains in Banff. You can either take the gondola up to the top of the Mountain or hike up. At the top you’ll be met with an interpretative boardwalk to walk across the summit, restaurants, observation deck, and hiking trails. If you hike up, you can ride the gondola down for free.

Wander across the interpretive boardwalk to the Cosmic Ray Station on Sanson's Peak. Or to maximize your budget and hike up to wander the mountain top boardwalk. In the off season you can take the gondola free down at the end of the day.

Great hike the top has a boardwalk, gift shop, restaurant, and weather station for exploring!! Can also take the gondola up to the top.

Ride the Gondola from Banff to the top of Sulphur Mountain and experience the incredible vista of the Bow River Valley. If you are adventurous, try running or walking quickly on the boardwalk at the top to experience how mountain climbers feel at high altitude.
