Belton Lake outdoor recreation area offering swimming, boating & water slides from May - October. Summer Fun Water Park is a family-owned business and is a summertime fun stop to entertained for all generations. The family fun amusement spot has a 900-ft slide, a lazy river, pools, snacks, and pavilions on 7 acres. Their rides and attractions are designed to produce unique experiences and thrills that can be allowed for all aged people. Kids two and under are permitted in the main pool and lazy river with a swim diaper, coast guard approved life jacket, and guardian. The park dining is filled with your hunger, and you can enjoy its lunch and dinner every time you visit all season long. They never charged for parking for your car. The water park is placed 17.3 miles from the downtown of Killeen.

Summer Fun Water Park, Temple 1401 Waco Rd, Belton, TX 76513-2316 Summer Fun is free for Seniors who show proper ID. You can even bring a cooler with water and a sandwich. Add sunglasses and sunscreen and you have several hours of no-cost relaxation and exercise. Tubes are provided for floating on the lazy river and I've found lounge chairs available in the late afternoon hours when I visit. Guards do a good job of maintaining order without being obnoxious. There's a large pool, but don't expect to lap swim. There are several trees on the property that provided shaded areas for those who want to stay out of the sun.
