History: This Katong neighbourhood has been rooted in prestige and many wealthy english, portugese, anglo-french and chinese settlers. The area is traditionally associated with the Eurasian and Peranankan community. Today, you see rows of shop houses coverted to quincy restaurants, pubs and desserts eateries. Look out for Awfully chocolate, look out for colorful peranankan dessert cakes. Definitely a place not to be missed since you are living within the neighbourhood!

The nearest cinema is here :) A short ride on the bus (no.40 from sims avenue). lots of pubs, bakeries, restaurants, cafe, decoration shops nearby.
