Just down the road 2 minutes is this little gem. A bit of funky, Tesuque Village market is a good place for a drink and local color. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The pastries are great. We love the huevos rancheros… the chile is hot, so be sure to order it on the side if your sensitive to spicy.

Located just down the road in the village of Tesuque, The Tesuque Village Market offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with a variety of options from standard fare to New Mexican specialties. Inside the restaurant is a small market where you can find a few staple items as well as beer and wine.

Up and over Bishop’s Lodge Road, the opposite direction from the plaza, this locals’ hangout has great margaritas, wood fired pizza, fish tacos, green chile stew, lemonade and desserts.

Margaritas! Pie! Lovely drive and scenery. Great selection of wines, very different setting and a lovely taste of local flavor.
