This is a beautiful building with a very nice jungle like park with monkeys and koi fish ponds. It’s a perfect photo opportunity. The queues to get into the building can get a bit long so come prepared. A great place for breakfast by the ornate swimming pool, bookings required.

If you like nature and belle époque's architecture, Parque Lage is the place to visit. You can also book a painting lesson or just enjoy a meal on the patio.

Less famous than its neighbor Jardim Botânico park, it's a nice place to visit. House of an Art School.

Close to the famous Rio Botanical Garden, you can do both in a day, great option for a walk in nature, stop in a nice café a lunch by nature.

Enjoy the uniqueness of Parque Lage, with trails and scenic view of Ipanema Beach (not easy to find, but ask around). Great for an afternoon out. After walking enjoy the little Café inside the french style Maison. The Maison houses the School for Beaux Arts.
