Take a short bus ride, heading east on Armitage (bus stop is across the street next to Little Lazo's) to Lincoln Park Zoo. Your family can enjoy the whole day here-and it's all free! There are many indoor/outdoor exhibits you can enjoy. While at the Zoo, you can grab a quick bit at the Cafe Brauer, or pack a lunch and enjoy a picnic while you're there. Just look out for the. many bikers that come out from nowhere when you least expect it, as you cross the street from the bus through Lincoln Park. Don't miss the Rookery while you're at the zoo! Beautiful photo ops, and picnic area. The Farm in the Zoo is another favorite part of the park. See chicks hatching, cows being milked, or just enjoy walking through the farm, enjoying better weather. There are many great views for selfies, or family photos. You can have photos with the Chicago skyline in the background from the zoo, depending on where in the Zoo you are.
