The Whirlpool Aero Car or Spanish Aero Car is a cable car located in Niagara Falls, Ontario that transports passengers over a section of the Niagara River referred to as the Niagara Whirlpool. The system was designed by Spanish engineer Leonardo Torres Quevedo and has been upgraded several times since 1916.

You can take the Spanish Aero Car over the Whirlpool rapids for some fantastic views. Once the water travels over the Falls, it continues down the Niagara River and the Whirlpool where the water swirls around before it continues its journey to Lake Ontario. Worth visiting !

Take the aero-car across the whirlpool. This is a cable car linked to two points inside Canada. It offers stunning views of the Niagara river gorge. The acrophobic may wish to give this a miss (or perhaps challenge themselves).
