The farm stand at Sylvester Manor offers fresh produce, meats, eggs and cheese, but also has activities for kids most weekends - everything from sing-alongs to story reading to hay rides. There's usually an opportunity to pick your own [whatever is in season] and all are welcome to stroll around the farm. The old manor house, which is a short drive from the farm stand, has walking trails that are open to the public and hosts several concerts (some indoors, some outdoors) every summer.

There are walking trails, a 350 year old windmill, and tons and tons of history on this working educational farm. Take the time for a visit and get to know the real Shelter Island. Visit their website for more information about operating hours, tours, and more.
