Powder Ridge Mountain Park and Resort is a year-round venue featuring skiing, snowboarding, tubing, synthetic snow (year round skiing, boarding & tubing), zip line, disc golf and mountain biking adventures for all ages. The Ridge also host cultural events, sports competitions, music festivals and beer fests. The newly renovated lodge blends country elegance with modern sophistication and is accented by repurposed barn board and two floor-to-ceiling fieldstone fireplaces. The flexible open floor plan accommodates over 200 guests making it the perfect wedding or corporate meeting venue. Larger groups will benefit from pond and mountain views from an outdoor tented site on Base Mountain. Destination restaurant located on the second floor of the lodge is home to Fire at the Ridge, serving artfully-inspired regional cuisine and Ridgeside Tavern for casual gatherings and can accommodate 150 guests along with private meeting and dining spaces. Day rooms are available for day or overnight accommodations. The living room settings are outfitted with desks, couches and full baths. The park is home to 20 feature-rich trails for all skill levels, complete with snow tubing for winter fun, mountain biking trails for summer and now New England's only 365 Synthetic Snow park. Skiing enthusiasts enjoy the boarder and ski cross course, racing family and friends down a four-lane track pitting boarder against boarder and skier against skier. Our Instructors implement a new terrain-based teaching method and is home to Connecticut's only Burton Riglet snowboarding program for children as young as 24 months. The Lodge offers a cafeteria, locker facilities, retail sports shop. For artfully-inspired regional cuisine, visit the Fire at the Ridge restaurant, offering lunch and dinner.
