There are fantastic walks, loads of fascinting local history, independent shops and places to eat and drink. We have a safe space for cyclists to store bikes, too!

Situated in Todmorden, West Yorkshire our beautifully restored cottage built in approximately 1665 and overlooking the vibrant market town of Todmorden and only 5km away from the artisan and beautiful town of Hebden Bridge. It provides an ideal base to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire including; Howarth, the home of the Brontes, Halifax, including the Piece Hall and Shibden Hall, the home of Anne Lister and the Pennine Way.

Stag Cottage, a gorgeous C16 Elizabethan cottage
Stag Cottage (built C1580) is a beautiful, quaint, historic Grade II Listed building hidden away in the ancient, hilltop Pennine village of Heptonstall. Stag Cottage oozes charm and retains many original features, including stone mullioned windows, arched lintels, wooden beams and a king post truss with wattle and daub infill. A low 4ft 6'' beam separates the kitchen from the living area. The Cottage sleeps 3 people comfortably; a double bedroom with king-size bed and also a single bedroom.

Cosy converted piggery, with fabulous views, fenced garden and patio overlooking the Calder Valley. Close to Hebden Bridge and Heptonstall, there are beautiful walks and cycle rides from the doorstep, which is 800m from the Pennine Bridleway. There is a wood burning stove (we provide a starter pack of logs) and well-behaved dogs are welcome. A king-sized bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge make this the perfect venue for couples, friends or parents and child!

Lower Hawkstones Farm
Lower Hawkstones Farm is a 18th century farmhouse and barn conversion set high on the Pennines. It’s wild and windy and we can get snow in the winter. There are fantastic views of the surrounding countryside and spectacular walks through woodland into the valley, or open moorland to the rear of the property. We have no public transport as the nearest bus stop is 1.5 miles away so own transport is recommended. There are lots of interesting places to eat within 15 mins by car

Mayroyd Mill Hse Large and peaceful-central Hebden
Spacious 4 bedroom house, with 2 bathrooms, 2 sitting rooms and large kitchen. Established garden with patio to enjoy the fresh air and parking for up to 4 cars. We are a short walk from the town centre where there are independent shops and great cafes and for the cyclists we are on National Cycle Route 66. It is ridiculously close to the railway station (2 minutes) and got bus links to Halifax and Haworth. Perfect for holidays, cycling or walking breaks.

The Little House is uniquely located on a quiet, non-through road at the heart of Hebden Bridge. Leave your car behind and walk everywhere around this picturesque town, full of independent cafes and restaurants, artisan shops, galleries, pubs, live music and even an independent cinema and local theatre. (on street parking IS available, but we say the best way to see Hebden Bridge is by foot).

A rural off grid country cottage If you want to unwind ,rest and relax then this is the place . If you love walking / mountain biking again this is the place with many walks and trails on your door step . We can now accommodate 3 people at the cottage, we have a double bed and sofa bed . There is also a lockable bike shed should any of our cycling guests need it . Lots of free parking

Nobel Nook
Nobel Nook is named as such due to the history of the property. Sir Geoffrey Wilkinson (Nobel Peace Prize winner) once resided here. The property has been sensitively restored over the years with its 1853 heritage in mind. stone floors, high ceilings and decorative features remain. The basement apartment style has followed suit and has undergone a full renovation
