Use our boat to visit the local mills in the nature area, relax in the large sunny garden or on our spacious terrace boat! It's the ideal location to enjoy a relaxed holiday and also be close to all the famous attractions! A rowing boat and bikes are available (for free) so you can enjoy all the attractions in the area near the houseboat! We're looking forward to meeting you!

Gebouwd in 1888 is dit een van de oudste boten van Amsterdam en ligt in de Jordaan vlak bij het Anne Frank huis en het Centraal Station. Our apartment is located on the top floor in one of Alkmaar's most famous buildings. It is the ideal base for exploring the city and the region. Step outside into the picturesque streets and canals and take a walk in the city park around the corner. Discover the historical monuments or visit the cheese market, explore the many boutiques or cafes and restaurants nearby. On the ground floor is the hippest restaurant in Alkmaar with a sunny terrace on the water.

Het Oude Strandhuis

Deze unieke accommodatie heeft een geheel eigen stijl. Het is een oud strandhuisje dat een mooi eigentijds huisje is geworden, met een fantastisch uitzicht over de weilanden. Vanuit je bed kijk je door de openslaande deuren naar de weilanden en kun je van de ochtendzon genieten. Aan de voorzijde kijk je over de ‘Stelling van Amsterdam’ en over de weilanden heen. Vanaf het terras kun je van de zonsondergang genieten. Werkelijk een prachtige plek.

COTTAGE NEAR THE WATER

You will find the cottage on a little island called De Woude. It is a true paradise for birdwatchers, hikers and fishermen but if you want visit Alkmaar, Zaanse schans, Amsterdam ore you want to go to the beach you will be there in ca. 35 minutes by car. With a ferry you get to the island. The ferry goes back and forth all day until 23:00. Cars are allowed. their is a private parking place near the cottage.

We would like to welcome you to an authentic ‘Zaans’ house built by the owner himself. The house is near the famous ‘Zaanse Schans’ with her windmills, museums and its traditional houses. Amsterdam is only 15 minutes away by public transportation. Cities like Alkmaar and Haarlem even the Dutch beach, are easily reachable from this beautiful location. The price is including tourist tax.
