The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.

Central AC, linens & towels provided, full kitchen. Great low weekday rates. Quite hours after 11:00 pm are strongly enforced by the local security.

Your experience is enhanced with a gas grill, outdoor seating/dining table, fully outfitted kitchen, and even a clearing for campfire and stargazing. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors. “Gee” side of Base Camp Bigfork Lodge

The lodge is divided into two separate sides however when you book, we block the other side for the duration of our stay. This allows us to not have to turn over the whole space but you still get it all to yourself. "The Gee Side" will be yours as well as the kitchen space. "The Haw Side" will be locked and unoccupied for your stay. This space serves as a perfect retreat for a couple to regroup between adventures.
