You can raise the glass "garage door" to have a beautiful view of nature and hear the wet weather creek running. You may even spot a deer or fox. It has a cozy king bed and we can also provide a luxury blow up mattress. This is a standalone guest house completely separate from the main house with it's own private driveway. You will have full access to explore the entire property and nearby hiking trails My wife and I are happy to hang out and provide advice on the best places to explore in Austin. However, if you want privacy you will never have to see us. There is a keypad on the front door, so you will have easy access with a key code and the entire transaction can occur through AirBNB. The home is in a very private neighborhood with lots between two and ten acres. The area is secluded and private, yet only 12 miles to downtown, two miles to Lake Austin, 8 miles to Lake Travis, and less than 10 minutes from a range of restaurants. Most people bring their car, but Uber is another great ways to explore Austin from this property. You can also ride your bike to Lake Austin (but you better be in shape to ride back up the hills) The home is in a very private neighborhood with lots between two and 10 acres. Discover several restaurants, a convenience store, community parks and community pool just a few minutes’ walk away from the house. Getting to downtown Austin is a 20-minute drive south. And The Domain which features 100 upscale and mainstream retail stores and restaurants, almost half of which are exclusive within the market, is located within a 10-minute drive. The Howard Train Station is a 6 minutes drive (and 25 minute walk) from my house and can easily get you downtown (final stop is by Austin Convention Center) and back.

The Cabin has its own driveway/parking.There is a well defined path, 5 min walk to the River, where you can relax, picnic,swim, Kayak or fish. At Cabin we have Volleyball, Cornhole, Horseshoes, Tetherball, Fire-pit wood, pool for you and your family to enjoy in warm weather with privacy. *Sorry but we will not be able to host parties.

This Austin themed retreat features a comfortable Queen-size bed, twin pull-out sofa, small kitchenette, keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, and convenient portable convection cooktop; walk-in shower and a front porch as well.
