Fernwood Forest

This is a true log cabin in the woods adjoining 9,000 acres of Chattahoochee National Forest. The home is on a small creek in a valley by Taylor's Ridge with private trails to the top of the mountain. There is a large stone fireplace in the den. Though it is a rustic setting we have great WIFI and streaming 4K HDR TV. We have space and facilities for dog and horse owners. Cloudland Canyon, Jarrod's Place Bike Park, Dalton, GA, and Chattanooga, TN are nearby and great day time destinations.

Come stay in our favorite Gamekeeper's Hut at Fable Realm! The Keeper of Keys' Hut is set on our private 40-acre location. Try your skill at the scavenger hunt, relax by a fire outside (giant-sized cauldron), watch the birds enjoy the pond from outside of this magical stone space just down the hill from The Burrow, and near Fairytale Cottage. Watch gliders fly above from the deck & still have Chattanooga attractions only a short 20 minutes away! Fire pit access for starry nights, creek access for exploration. Cleaned by professional cleaning company. Beautiful mountain view. We have 3 yurts on the property to potentially accommodate a group.

The house has easy access, just 1 min to high way ( I-75 ) on last exit 353 between Georgia and Tennessee line. Is located just 15 min from downtown Chattanooga, Hamilton mall (8 min), Chattanooga Airport (11 min) and many touristic places. We are a family of 4 including 2 medium dogs. We are pet friendly!

The Artistree House on Lookout Mountain is a brand new luxury treehouse with panoramic views and a spectacular sunset. This is a place to relax, unwind and get inspired. It features reclaimed wood from a furniture store that was over 100 years old such as the heart pine floors, hand crafted bed and ladder to the loft bedroom. The antique oak door with original doorbell, was taken from an 1890’s farmhouse out of Macon, GA.
