An off the grid whimsical gem in the Ten Acre Treehouse forest! "The Captains Quarters". This is the 2nd treehouse in rural Nauvoo. A lot of the same touches found in "The Whitetail". The first treehouse here, you will find in this nautical inspired creation. *No pets. *No smoking tobacco or weed. This 3 bed, 1 bath restored brick home is located in Keokuk, Iowa, just 12 miles south of Nauvoo, IL and 66 miles north of Hannibal, MO. Great location for a family vacation. Bathroom upstairs, not suitable for those with limited mobility. We have a new air conditioning system, house stays cool during the summer months. There is only one bathroom so if you have a large group, be prepared to share. There are plenty of extra towels.

Nauvoo with a country view

We welcome guests to our 1880 Sonora Town Hall Cottage. This building once served as a voting poll for the Sonora Township. It is now a beautiful boutique cottage for overnight guests staying in the Nauvoo area. We are located on a working grain farm 6 miles southeast of Nauvoo. PLEASE NOTE: NO SMOKING or VAPING on the premises. We do have security cameras outside of the town hall building, which provide security and lighting for all guests.
