The Sinclair Suite

This 1 bedroom/1 bath private home was originally a historic Sinclair gas station. Renovated in 2023, we’ve kept as much of the original building’s elements as possible while restoring it to create both a unique and relaxing experience. The bay area has been converted into a living/sleeping space that includes a TV & seating area as well as two queen-sized beds and a sleeper sofa. The former office space now features a full kitchen. A back patio, firepit, washer & dryer are all located on site.

Avenue K is a newly remodeled home in northwest Childress. Surprisingly spacious two bedroom one bath home with a garage, a patio, and a private back yard. Use the game room to set up your computer and work, or play games with the family. There is a futon which can be an extra bed for 1 or 2 children. Restaurants and grocery stores are just a few blocks away. Located in a quiet and family oriented neighborhood, you can feel safe and secure. Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place.

Experience a time when life was less complicated in this "Vintage Eclectic" 1950's style home. Original oak floors with vintage decor from the 50's gives one an idea of what life was like to live on the Mother Road. Two bedrooms accented with furniture, colors, and wall art reflective of the area and time period. There's also a reading room to soak in the sun and have your morning coffee. One-Room Schoolhouse @ SAMS TOWN on 66

A 100-Year Old Schoolhouse near Route 66's roar, Rustic and aged, history running through its core. It’s not pristine, by any means! It's worn, and has some dust and some rust, But hospitality here is a must! There is a toilet and sink inside the schoolhouse. The shower is in a separate building close by. Heat is provided by a wood burning stove, with wood. There is also an electric, space heater. There is one King Size bed and one Queen Size bed.

The Green Door Cottage

Welcome to the Green Door Cottage where you will enjoy a quaint cottage feel in the heart of Childress, Texas. The history behind this cottage will bring you back to the 1940's when it was used as part of the attached Fairview Floral Wholesale Co. The separate drive and front entrance, leading all the way to the backyard, mimics a shotgun style house. Its charm and unique history will make your stay one to remember.

Leave your troubles at the gate when you enter this property. My desire is that whatever brings you here you find comfort and peace. If you are coming in from the city and just need to hear silence for a day or two, working in town but want your own space, bringing a family together for vacation/holidays or a couple that just needs a weekend away to reconnect. *It does have a 4 mile stretch of dirt road.

Quiet place located just outside of town but close enough to all the amenities. Perfect location for visiting Caprock Canyons State Park, spending the weekend at Bob Will's Days, or your annual hunting trip. Plenty of room with 2 queen beds, 1 full, and 1 twin. It has a fully stocked kitchen as well as a propane grill. There is plenty of parking area for trucks/trailers.
