The floating house is a one bedroom, one bath property. The dock includes a gas grill, patio table floats, air pump, 2 paddle boards, 2 kayaks, 2 lounge chairs, 2 fishing rods and a swim up ladder for easy access onto the dock. You can access the property with your own boat, or rent a boat from the marina.

Tired of staying in the same old stuffy boring hotel room? So were we so we decided to own our own Houseboat on the Tennessee River, where we could walk to just about everything. The “Moonlight Madness” is docked at Volunteer Landing Marina in Knox. The marina is steps away from award winning “Ruth’s Chris” steakhouse and Calhoun’s On the River. We provide free parking pass, golf cart, 2 kayaks, 1 SUP, 2 cruiser bikes. We're in a covered slip but you can sun bath off the stern deck.

Shore access can be via our SUP/kayaks once at the house. Please note there is no wifi. Plenty of room to lay your heads, shower/change, and cook meals. Available as AirBnb and also for an additional fee lake tours are available. 2 hour minimum. The houseboat is at Joyners Marina on Lake Wylie across from Poppa Docks, and has vast lake views and the sun rises and sets over the houseboat. Treat yourself to a staycation and relax on the lake.

The home can only be accessed by boat, if you don’t have your own Whitman Hollow offers boat rentals, just call them in advance to reserve. Parking at the marina is free. If you have a boat the launch ramp is right around the corner from the marina and is also free. Jump (or slide) right off the dock into the lake!
