Our place is located in the heart of the beautiful Taurikura Bay only a stone throw from the waters edge with views of the bay. We are surrounded by beautiful bush walking trails suitable for all levels of fitness & beautiful beaches to choose from.

Makai Lodge has spectacular sweeping views of Bream Bay, and is positioned on a small lifestyle block giving an idyllic holiday spot conveniently located within 5 minutes of Waipu and 1.5 hours from Auckland. Enjoy the quintessential kiwi holiday location but relish the modern day conveniences provided such as dishwasher, heat pumps, washing machine and SMART TV.
