The property is 5 miles from I-40 in beautiful Haywood County, NC which is rich in hiking, biking trails & fly-fishing. It’s an easy 11 mile drive to Waynesville, Lake Junaluska, or the Blue Ridge Parkway; 20 miles to Cataloochee Ski Lodge & just west of the amazing Biltmore House in Asheville. Canton was recently featured in “Our State” Magazine for the revived down town area. We love the small town atmosphere, location & believe you will too. Your stay at Red Cottage will be comfortable, easily accessible, and minutes away from Canton, Waynesville, and Maggie Valley. The circa 1950’s Cottage is fully renovated inside and out. Beautiful front porch and lovely sitting area in the rear of the Cottage. We are climate controlled with a mini split HVAC to keep you toasty warm in spring, fall, and winter and comfortably cool in the summer. Internet access and TVs in the living room and master bedroom. Washer and dryer included. Welcome!

Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... And don’t forget to visit the goats!!
