Welcome to Forest Retreat! We are nestled in the hills of Western New York, 23 miles to Chautauqua Lake and 14 miles to Lily Dale. This unique home is near several wedding venues and the Earl Cardot Overland Trail, which is surrounded by 2,300 acres of state forest. We are located between 2 local ski resorts, and only 87 miles south of Niagara Falls State park. Relax by the fire, kayak, or fish in the 2 acre pond and just enjoy the scenery. We do require a signed waiver to utilize the pond.

Follow the walking path across the street to visit historic, haunted Dunkirk Lighthouse (seasonally) or explore the 60+ acre Point Gratiot Park. See the glorious sunrise from the private second- floor deck and grill out back on the oversized deck. Please note that the power plant across the street is no longer operational

Our home is located in historic North East Pa. The house sits on a bluff overlooking beautiful Lake Erie with steps to access the beach. We have 2 bikes, a fire pit and plenty of seating on the oversized deck to enjoy your view of bald eagles flying along the shore. A split air system gives Air conditioning in the entire home makes your stay very comfortable. We are certain you will love your escape to the lake.
