Welcome to my delightful guest house in the grounds of my home. Benefitting from its own private access, the living space is modern and open plan. There’s the convenience of a separate utility room including a washing machine. The master is a double, the second bedroom has bunk beds. There’s a powerful shower in the bathroom. Parking on the large driveway, and access to a patio space just outside of the living/dining area. as well as a pod point for electric vehicles, for an additional fee.

A five-minute drive takes you to the beautiful countryside of Nottinghamshire.

We are surrounded by forest and countryside, yet only a short drive to the vibrant city of Nottingham and the market town of Mansfield. Papplewick village boasts a charming country pub, quaint tearooms and is the southern gateway to Sherwood Forest and home of Robin Hood. Ideal for long or short stays, country and city lovers, holiday makers, cyclists, walkers and business travellers alike.

Single or Twin bedded room.

A single or twin bedded room in our lovely traditional detached house in the leafy suberb of Woodthorpe two miles north of Nottingham city centre. The room shares a guest kitchen with other guests and shower room with one other guest room. Charge for second guest sharing is £23 a night. Breakfast supplies are provided in the guest kitchen for you to make your own breakfast. This includes a choice of cereals, bread milk tea and coffee butter spread fruit juice and home made preserves and honey.

Sleepover with Miniature horse Basil

Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.
