Wild Forest Tin Box - Off the Grid Eco Retreat

Above the forest. Under the Milky Way. A converted shipping container just above the tree line. We'll take you up through the forest in our golf cart. Completely off-grid. A queen bed, 100% linen, a well-equipped kitchen, bathroom, and a covered deck with a fire pit, hammock and Cape Cod chairs. Rain is never a reason to go inside. At night, with no light anywhere nearby, the Milky Way is complete. The outdoor bath puts you under all of it. You'll be soaking under the stars, above the forest.

Relax, pull up a beanbag, and soak in the stunning views with your glass of wine overlooking Hokianga Harbour and its world famous giant sand dunes, or unwind in the hot tub as the sun sets and stars emerge overhead. Relax on Enterprise A refurbished 3-bedroom house located in a quiet industrial street away from the hustle and bustle yet handy to supermarkets and food outlets. Located in Kaikohe, right on the Twin Coast Cycle trail. Cycle the Kaikohe to Opua section one day via Kawakawa and to Horeke via Okaihau the 2nd day. Paihia & the Bay of Islands are 40 minutes' drive East, Opononi & Tane Mahuta are an hour to the West. Cape Reinga is approximately 3 hours away via Mangonui on State Highway 10.

Fully self contained 2 bdrm cottage on a lifestyle farm. (Tariff is for 2 people). We have a small herd of cattle, including 3 Scottish Highlands. The bulk of the land is in native bush, with bush walks. 1 km from the Pou Herenga Tai cycle way, & about 30 mins drive from both Kaikohe & Kerikeri. With a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, dining room/lounge - it is comfortable, warm and homely. Limited Wifi and Freeview TV available. BBQ only available over summer (Nov-March).

This recently renovated 3 bedroom house is located on 330 acres of private farmland. The house has been finished to a high standard, with excellent amenities, including hot tub with amazing views, outdoor dining and lounge spaces on 360 degree decks, WiFi, two TVs, heaps of parking, modern kitchen and luxury bathrooms, and comfortable stylish furniture throughout.

Mulga Bill's Cottage

Mulga Bill's Cottage is located 5 km south of Kaikohe down Mangakahia Rd. Totora trees abound on the property, and we are surrounded by farmland. Kaikohe is centrally located in the Far North, and is close to Ngawha hot pools, the Bay of Islands, Hokianga Harbour, Kaitaia, the 90 Mile Beach and the Kauri forests. The Cottage is only 1.6 km from the Twin Coast Cycle Trail. We are located mid-way between the coasts, so are an ideal base from which to cycle the trail.
