Welcome to the mountains! Newly restored cabin is all windows - light, bright, vaulted ceilings. Backs up to Nantahala National Forest yet short drive to Cashiers, Highlands and hiking. Full kitchen, open living space, large loft, forest view, oversized couch and TV (Roku), strong WiFi, two cozy bedrooms, completely new bathroom, nice sized shower. Take in views of the forest and BBQ on the front deck or enjoy the sound of the rain on the screened porch with a coffee. Large yard is all yours!

Brookside Cottage

Brookside cottage is newly renovated and surrounded by forest in the mountains of western North Carolina. A mountain stream descends in front of the cottage providing an restful water feature. Located in Transylvania county between Brevard and Cashiers, the area is named the “Land of Waterfalls”. Supplies (food, drink, etc.) are available 2 miles from cottage. Caution to low riding cars/sports cars: the last half mile to this cottage is a gravel road and must ford a small stream.

Speckled Trout on the Tuck (Tuckasegee River)

Nearly new Park Model Cabin located on the banks of the Tuckasegee River, one of the best trout streams in NC! There is an easy access off Hwy. 107 S, about 5 miles from Cullowhee. It is close to many parks for hikiing and biking and lakes for boating and fishing. It has an all wood interior with a screened porch, picnic table , fire pit and charcoal grill. There is a nice walkway down to the river. Enjoy fishing, swimming and boating at this nice escape!

Lazy Moss Cabin at Lake Glenville and pet friendly

Welcome to Lazy Moss Cabin in Western North Carolina, you can see more if you go to You Tube and search for the name Lazy Moss cabin. Situated among the lush mountain laurel, native rhododendron and moss covered yard at a cool elevation of 3500 feet. We area a pet friendly rental with a limit of 2 pets per visit but NO pet fee because we have found that pet owners are very considerate of our cute cabin so thank you and enjoy your stay.

Bark covered cottage in a lush mountain laurel forest, yet close to everything! Beautiful front porch, upscale furnishings and detailing, full kitchen, beautiful, subway tile walk in shower. The weather in Cashiers is ideal for hiking, biking, fly fishing, golf or just relaxing! We do ask three day bookings on weekends. Your dog is welcome - there is a $100 dog fee.
