Create romantic memories in this refurbished old stable in the beautiful hamlet of Nantyderry in rural Monmouthshire. Restored to a high standard for a quiet, cosy and comfortable stay. Furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, log burning stove and a lovely mezzanine bedroom. A stone's throw from a traditional pub/restaurant and near the market town of Abergavenny, famous for its range of dining experiences. New Inn station is a five minute drive away with trains going directly into Cardiff.

We have the best of both worlds, stunning countryside & easy access to local amenities. We’re on Domen Fawr which is over 1653ft high. At the top you can see Pen y Fan & central Brecons. Heads of the Valley is nearby & provides great access across South Wales. Cardiff is an hour away by train. We are a quiet retreat, ideal for walkers, young families or couples wanting a relaxing, peaceful break. Pets are welcome but there are additional charges. Please ask us in advance as we have our own dogs.

Opposite an old church with views across the valley it offers an an ideal getaway with walks in every direction and outdoor activities (canoeing, climbing, horse riding) further afield. Local events include: The Abergavenny Food Festival, Crickhowell Walking Festival, Haye Literary Festival, The Green Man. The village is two miles away with shops and pubs.

The Garden House is a peaceful stone cottage set in the historic gardens of High Glanau Manor, the home of H. Avray Tipping (1855-1933) the Architectural Editor of Country Life Magazine from 1907. High Glanau Manor is an important Arts & Crafts house set in 12 acres of gardens designed in 1922.
