Southern cuisine with a great Sunday, all you can eat brunch. This place has been around for a long time and is popular with the locals. Lots of folks there on Sundays after church so you may want to get there before 11AM.

This is definitely a locals spot. They have a large selection of food and you get a lot of bang for your buck. Think 3AM, you're hungry and in the French Quarter. This is where you go. It isn't a sit down joint though and they only take cash.

I haven't been here yet but it's on my list for sure. I've heard lots of great things about it. It's unique in that it focuses on the lives of the those who were enslaved that lived and worked on the plantation.
