Our Curious | Opossum Hollow

Welcome to Opossum Hollow in the quaint mountain town of Travelers Rest! Our partially restored 1984 Airstream Excella, lovingly referred to as `Possum Holler', is situated on the same property as our home. With a covered space for parking and a 35 foot skylight deck, this outdoor space is designed for cool evening lounging and warm afternoon napping. We worked with a number of local artisans to design and create the entire space, ensuring most every element is handmade, upcycled, and recycled!

We didn't want you to have to squeeze into a tiny camper bathroom, so we made a brand new concrete/tile bathroom to give you extra space to get ready to explore the town in style. Private Roku tv in bedroom, wifi, coffee setup, books, AC/Heat, huge porch for relaxing. 25 minutes to downtown Greenville, near plenty of hikes and trails, or you can relax in nature at home :)

Perfectly situated for motorcycle enthusiasts, trout fishing & family outings, we are located close to Bryson City, Cherokee, Maggie Valley & Waynesville. Fully paved access with covered carport parking available. Ample parking for trucks & trailers. Stay here and ride Tail of the Dragon, Moonshiner 28, Cherohala Skyway & Blue Ridge Parkway. We are 2.5 hours north of Atlanta, 2.5 hours southeast of Knoxville & 3 hours west of Charlotte.

Our secluded, lake front retreat has a variety of waterfowl, forest animals and stunning mile-long views of Lake Wylie. Your 450 Sq. Ft private cabin was built in 2023 and is nestled in the woods overlooking the river. Just minutes from the trendy small town of Belmont, w/ popular restaurants, pubs and boutiques. 5 min to Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens, 15 min to the National Whitewater Center, 30 min to uptown Charlotte. Welcome to the Dewdrop, our sustainable tiny house in the heart of the Blue Ridge! Come stay in our custom built, eco-friendly tiny house with rainwater collection system, composting toilet, a large covered deck, and sleeping arrangements for 4 in Pisgah Forest, NC. A country feel just 10 minutes from Brevard, and 2.5 miles to the entrance of Pisgah National Forest. On 4 acres with a creek, yet just off the main road. With fire pit, picnic tables, and many local amenities nearby.

The RhodoDen

As its name suggests, The RhodoDen is a cozy 1974 Airstream Argosy nestled among the rhododendron of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set along a trickling creek with a bonfire ring and a view of nearby Watch Knob, this is "glamping" at its finest. RhodoDen provides an idyllic place to relax, and is a great basecamp for hiking adventures, dining and nightlife in Asheville and Black Mountain, both of which are only 15 minutes away. Plus we are pet friendly! Update 3/24: We built a roof!
