The cabin is in a mountain community called Ocona Lake Estates. Located 5 miles from Bryson City and 5 miles from Cherokee NC/ Oconaluftee Visitor. Catoloochee Ski resort is 18 miles.

I'm up the hill from a small private lake *as of summer '25 - lake temporarily drained for long term repairs* NO WI-FI, weak cell. Guest pass for lake property provided. NO PETS or SMOKING - strict policy.

The Farm at Stillwater Sanctuary is a beautiful space, with five horses and a mule, farm dogs, chickens and ducks with farm fresh eggs when available upon arrival, a fire pit, hiking trails and a pond to swim in on hot summer days.
