En el pueblo de Llaés somos 12 habitantes, y lo que más nos gusta de nuestro barrio, la tranquilidad y harmonía que se respira, el verde de las montañas con el contraste del azul eléctrico del cielo. Nos encantan las tardes tranquilas donde solo alzando la vista observas águilas, búhos al anochecer, mariposas, liebres, topos, zorros, y un sinfín más de vecinos que corren por el barrio!

L'alloggio è tranquillo, immerso in un'oasi verde, ma anche centrale, vicino a negozi e ristoranti. Adatto a coppie, anche con un bambino, a single e a chi viaggia per lavoro. La vicinanza alla tangenziale rende facilmente raggiungibile l'autostrada per Palermo, Siracusa, Ragusa e Messina. E' un'ottima base di partenza per gite sull'Etna e per le principali località turistiche della Sicilia orientale e per la città di Catania. Perfetto per chi ama la piscina! Si tratta di un antico palmento, che è stato recentemente ristrutturato in modo conservativo, cioè lasciando intatte tutte le caratteristiche funzionali: il pavimento in pietra lavica della camera da letto, le tipiche scale interne ed esterne, le botti con i loro rubinetti; ho scelto di lasciare in vista per i miei ospiti anche numerosi oggetti tipici della lavorazione dell'uva, quali i grandi mestoli e i panieri in vimini. Il palmento è stato arricchito dalla presenza di un grande camino che è a disposizione degli ospiti. Completa l'ospitalità la possibilità di utilizzare i grandi spazi esterni intorno alla piscina dove si trovano il rigoglioso giardino di mandarini e la doccia. Si forniscono anche bicchieri, piatti, stoviglie per potere consumare semplici pasti freddi.

Il palmento si trova all'interno del parco di una villa storica; perciò quando si è in casa o vicino alla piscina si gode di una serena tranquilità. Appena si esce dalla proprietà, che è recintata da un alto muro e al riparo dagli sguardi estranei, ci si ritrova nel centro di Mascalucia: negozi, supermarket, ristoranti, pizzerie e gastronomie di vario genere.

Victoria Drummond Tower was built as a Folly Tower in the victorian period in 1858 by William Drummond Delap as part of Monasterboice House & Demesne. The tower is regarded as a folly tower built in remembrance of his late mother. Recently restored into a small habitable dwelling and is now available for rental for selected months of the year. A very unique and enjoyable place to stay with a vast range of local & historical amenities at your disposal.

Drummond Tower comprises of 4no. floors including a top roof level which guests can enjoy extensive views of the surrounding countryside. The ground floor comprises of a kitchen area with cooking and washing facilities. On the first floor there is a comfortable living room with adequate space to relax and watch TV or read books form the extensive book collection. There are 2no. couches with 1no. being a comfortable double sofa bed. The second floor bedroom is the last of the internal floors which comprises of a queen sized bed with en-suite, shower and washing facilities. One of the great advantages is waking up in the mornings and looking out over the tree tops and the immediate countryside. The top floor level is the external castellated roof terrace. There is 360 degree views of the area and space to enjoy the fine weather. The roof terrace is illuminated so one can access the area during at night to look at the stars

Drummond Tower is situated in the countryside on the Boyne Valley Drive - R168. 5 mins from Monasterboice Round Tower & Melifont Abbey. Newgrange, Dowth, Oldbridge (Battle of the Boyne) and Slane / Collon Village is within 15mins drive. Drogheda is located nearby with shopping, Restaurants and Bars. We would recommend Monasterboice Inn (5 mins drive) with selection of fine food & beverages. Also check out "No. Three" in the local Village of Collon which would be approx 3 miles or visit the lovely village of Slane and have a pint on Boyles Pub

CASA DEL CERRO es una casa patrimonial del año 1930 recientemente restaurada ubicada a los pies del cerro San Cristobal y a pasos de la famosa “Chascona” de Pablo Neruda. Una casona de arquitectura ecléctica que destaca por sus hermosas puertas y ventanas. En el primer piso tiene un luminoso hall de entrada con parquet impecable y una singular escalera que dirige hacia las habitaciones. Es un hogar limpio, acogedor, muy bien decorado y lleno de detalles.

Es una hermosa y luminosa habitación con vista al patio interior de la Casa del Cerro. Cómoda cama de dos plazas con sus respectivos veladores, una silla guatemalteca, repisas con diversos libros, percheros para la ropa y una linda decoración. En la puerta de al lado se encuentra el baño compartido que tiene una estética vintage y toallas limpias. En la puerta de enfrente otra habitación que puede ser utilizada como oficina/escritorio.

Una de las principales atracciones del barrio es la Casa de Pablo Neruda “La Chascona“ que queda al final del pasaje y funciona como museo. Durante la mitad del siglo XX además de Neruda llegaron varios otros artistas al sector que con pasar de los años se transformó en un enclave bohemio y cultural de Santiago. También llegaron al barrio universidades, restaurantes y un dinámico circuito musical y teatral. Muy cerca de Casa del Cerro se encuentra la entrada al Parque Metropolitano y el Zoológico de Santiago, donde se puede disfrutar de paseos y de una vista muy hermosa de Santiago. Cruzando el rio Mapocho, muy cerca se encuentra el pintoresco barrio Lastarria que se destaca por calles arboladas con hoteles boutique, bares de moda y restaurantes. Sheldon Castle is a registered Baldwin County Historic home. It is a unique, artistic structure right in Fairhope but secluded on a side street. The Eastern Shore Art Center is down the drive and across the street. From there you are in wonderful downtown Fairhope. The studio suite is a completely private part of Sheldon Castle with the Sheldon descendants in the rest of the home. Mosher Castle with a moat and dragon is next door. Our guests are invited to walk the grounds of both castles.

We have a UV air purifier, follow enhanced cleaning guidelines. The suite is a separate part of the castle and easily accessed with just one short step up. The vaulted ceiling with 3 beautiful exposed beams gives the room a spacious and interesting feel. The handsome & comfortable King size sleigh bed is a gift from a dear family friend. A twin bed can be brought in if a 3rd guest will be staying. Children are allowed. Toddlers are allowed after some concerns are discussed. The kitchenette has a refrigerator, double sink & microwave. There is no oven or stove top but a grill is available outside. Coffee & tea is always available. Delicious breakfast muffins are placed in the fridge upon request. The big bay window lets in the sun & view of the grounds but the blackout drapes are there for privacy when needed. We have self check in but we are near by or just a phone call or text away.

It is only 4 blocks to the center of town. Many restaurants, the Eastern Shore Art Center, unique stores, the Civic Center, Fairhope Public Library and the Fairhope Museum of History are all within that walk. Head 4 blocks west and your are in one of Fairhope's lovely bluff parks that overlooks Mobile Bay. Go down the bluff stairs and you can walk along the public beach to the City Rose Garden and public pier. The 24 mile long Eastern Shore Bike Trail is just a block away.

Queen Anne Hill is an affluent neighbourhood situated 1.5 miles away from downtown Seattle (15-minute walk/2-minute monorail). Our home is also a 5-minute walk from the Space Needle. Nearby are the Key Arena, the Seattle Science Centre, and the Museum of Pop Culture. Walking up the hill, you’ll find Kerry Park. The park has an overlook with picturesque view of the city and is an excellent place to take pictures. A little further up the hill is Queen Anne Ave, which hosts a number of shops and restaurants. Every Thursday the Ave hosts a farmer’s market as well. To get to downtown you can either walk, Uber, or take the monorail [located in Central House (Seattle Centre)]. If you take the monorail you’ll arrive at Westlake station which is at the heart of the shopping district, and only a 5-minute walk to Pike Place Market.
